brow pre-care
Please follow these steps carefully before your appointment:
Refrain from consuming alcohol, caffeine, aspirin, or other blood-thinning medications for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. This reduces the risk of excessive bleeding and ensures better pigment retention.
Do not wax, tint, tweeze, or thread your eyebrows for at least 3–5 days before your appointment. Your natural brow hairs will guide the mapping and shaping process, giving you the most precise and flattering results.
Avoid retinol, chemical exfoliants, acids, and strong facial treatments around the brow area for 1 week prior. These can make your skin sensitive and affect pigment absorption.
If you’ve recently had Botox, chemical peels, or laser treatments near your brow area, please wait at least 2 weeks before your session to ensure your skin is fully healed.
Avoid sunburn or tanning on your face prior to the appointment. Damaged or irritated skin can affect pigment retention and healing.
Ensure you are well-rested and hydrated. A healthy body promotes smoother healing and better results.
Arrive with a clean, makeup-free brow area. Remove any creams, oils, or lotions on your forehead or brows before your session.
If you have existing tattoos or cosmetic procedures on your brows, please send a clear photo to browsquare@gmail.com before booking. This allows us to evaluate your skin and design the perfect natural look.
brow after-care
Please follow these instructions for 14 days after the procedure to improve and prolong the results of your PMU. If you don’t follow these instructions, it can greatly affect your PMU results or put you at risk for infection or scarring or loss of pigmentation!
The dry healing process allows your brows to heal naturally, with scabs forming over the pigmented areas and falling off on their own. This method often results in sharper, more defined hair strokes as the scabs act as a barrier to protect the pigment from smudging or fading.
Key Aftercare Instructions:
Days 1-3: Keep your brows completely dry. Avoid activities that may cause them to get wet, such as showering, sweating, swimming, or exposure to water.
No Picking or Scratching: Resist the urge to touch, pick, or rub the treated area, as this could lead to pigment loss or scarring.
Starting Day 4: Apply a thin layer of aftercare ointment twice daily for the next 7 days. This will aid the healing process and help prevent excessive scabbing.
Keep It Clean: Avoid touching your brows and steer clear of any products containing fragrances, alcohol, or peroxide.
What to Expect:
Your brows may look darker and bolder initially, but don’t worry—they’ll soften and lighten as they heal.
Avoid These for 14 Days:
Saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, and hot tubs.
Makeup on the brow area.
Direct sunlight or tanning.
Exfoliating products (e.g., scrubs, acids, or retinols).
Botox treatments in the forehead area.
Sleeping on your face.
Intense workouts.
Following these steps will help ensure optimal results and long-lasting, beautiful brows!
The colour will fade approximately 30-50% when the scabs fall off. This is completely normal. Do not feel discouraged if the fading is more than you expected. The colour will become darker in 1-2 weeks after all the scabbing fall off.
A follow up touch up is usually recommended and can be completed anytime after 5 weeks from the initial appointment.
